In a world full of fast Rajasthan trips, this is something rare,
a slow, soulful Offmap group trip through Udaipur, Mount Abu & Jawai, built around experiences, not sightseeing.
Udaipur becomes your home for all three nights – so you don’t live out of suitcases or rush between hotels. You explore the city like a local, take a day escape into Rajasthan’s only hill station, and step into the raw wilderness of India’s Leopard Village — Jawai. Every evening, you return to Udaipur to ground yourself again by the lakes.
This is Rajasthan beyond forts and checklists.
This is about lakes, hills, wilderness, food, music, sunsets, and slow conversations.

You arrive in Udaipur by morning and check into your lakeside stay.
This day is about soaking into the City of Lakes, not rushing through it.
By afternoon, the city opens through a curated food walk in Udaipur’s narrow old lanes, stopping at Lonely Planet–recommended food joints and iconic local eateries. You taste the real Udaipur - kachoris, mirchi vadas, poha, sweets - the kind of food locals actually eat.
As evening drops, the walk gently ends at Lake Pichola, where you step onto a sunset boat ride - floating past palaces as the lake turns gold.
Post sunset, you experience the Bagore Ki Haveli light & sound show, bringing Udaipur’s royal stories to life.
The night returns to your stay with dinner, storytelling, and quiet music sessions.
Not a party. A warm first night in Rajasthan.
The morning road leads you from lake country into the misty Aravallis for a day escape to Mount Abu, Rajasthan’s only hill station and its true desert oasis.
You slow-walk around Nakki Lake, explore the world-famous Dilwara Temples known for some of the finest marble carvings in India, and take in the cool hill air that feels unreal inside Rajasthan.
By evening, you return toward Udaipur just in time for a sunset at Bahubali Hills - a high point where the city spreads out quietly below you.
Later at night, you unwind at Ambrai Ghat, watching the city lights reflect on the lake, followed by dinner back at the stay.
This day moves into Rajasthan’s wildest side.
You travel into Jawai, known as the Leopard Village of India and often called the Masai Mara of India. It’s one of the only places where leopards roam freely outside protected forests, coexisting with local Rabari herders.
By evening, you arrive at Jawai Dam for a slow hi-tea session as migratory birds circle the water.
As darkness settles, your Leopard Safari begins - moving through granite hills, rocky caves, and open wilderness where sightings are frequent and natural.
It’s raw. Silent. Unfiltered.
Late night, you return back to Udaipur, bringing the wild back into the calm.
Before the city wakes, you rise for sunrise at Karni Mata Viewpoint, watching Udaipur slowly glow below.
After breakfast and checkout, the return journey begins - with a planned halt at the mighty Kumbhalgarh Fort, home to the second-longest wall in the world after the Great Wall of China.
By night, you head toward Delhi with Rajasthan still moving quietly inside you.
