This is a 3-day OFFMAP Himachal group trip designed for travellers who want real mountain villages, crowd-free experiences, and a well-balanced mix of adventure & slow travel.
We explore hidden Himalayan villages like Polling, Kothi Kodal, Bada Gaon, and Rajgundha Valley, where life still moves at its own pace. This is Himachal as it was decades ago – less crowded, less commercial, and deeply connected to nature.
From paragliding in Bir Billing to hiking through quiet valleys of Barot, this trip blends soft adventure with culture, village life, food walks, waterfalls, bonfires, and stargazing.
Destinations Covered:

First-time mountain travellers looking for a safe, fun, well-curated Himachal experience
It’s a journey where every day feels like a new world – from café towns to deep Himalayan valleys.
This trip is about Himalayan silence, stargazing valleys, mud-house living, and the thrill of jumping off Billing to land in Bir. Rajgundha is your home in the mountains – peaceful, remote, and breathtaking.
BAROT:
The journey begins at night as you leave Delhi behind and move into the quiet rhythm of the mountains. Conversations slow down, playlists change, and somewhere after midnight, the noise of the city fades into mountain silence.
Bir welcomes you with fresh air, open skies, and an easy pace.
Post lunch, you step into a hidden waterfall trail with stream crossings and light adventure, guided by local experts and Offmap trip captains.
Later, Bir shifts into its softer side with monastery walks, café hopping, and an unhurried sunset at the Landing Site where paragliders float in as the sky turns gold.
Night brings a bonfire and storytelling session at the stay - your first slow mountain night.
Before sunrise, you head to Billing for paragliding, one of the best flying sites in Asia - a quiet takeoff, cold wind, and then pure sky.
From here, the mood changes completely as the road takes you deep into Rajgundha Valley, one of Himachal’s most Offmap valleys. The afternoon flows by the Uhl River, followed by a slow climb to Chaihna Top for sunset.
Rajgundha is known for some of the clearest night skies in India. With zero light pollution, the night unfolds under stars, with a bonfire and deep silence that’s rare to find anymore.
The final morning opens into forests and rivers as you move into Barot Valley, exploring Kothi Kohal Waterfall, Barot village, and nearby Multhan village - pine trails, cold water, and real valley life.
By 4 PM, the return to Delhi begins. You reach the city early next morning around 5 AM, carrying back stillness, not exhaustion.
